Important Mods You Might Not Know About
Other than the usual mods considered Essential for modding, here are a few other very important mods and tools. The first two can keep your game from crashing or at least improve stability. The last one allows you to keep playing that older version of GTA 5 that you love.
Weapon Limits Adjuster
This mod can be considered essential if you are installing many weapons as well as fighter planes or military vehicles with weapons. It can be downloaded here.
Resource Adjuster
The Resource Adjuster is a tool rather than a mod. It was designed to "to improve stability, reduce texture loss and actually use your system's available resources as much as possible. This script is designed for high end systems with 8GB or more of GPU memory and more than 8GB of system memory available to be used solely by the game, although this is configurable via the included INI file."
Benchmarking tools prove that it does indeed work, making more video memory available.
Issuer Check Bypass Against Social Club
Don't let the horrible name mislead you, this tool allows you to play with reverted versions of GTA 5 after a Rockstar Social Club upgrade in April 2023 that prevented older versions to be loaded and played. It fixes the Social Club Code 16 Error. Read more here.
